Jessica Simpson wore a green, ethnic-print jacket and carried a matching purse today as she left lunch at Balthazaar in NYC. The singer and designer is in the Big Apple with her fiancé, Eric Johnston, and while she was without her man for today's meal, the pair stepped out for a date night on Thursday. Jessica and Eric made their way east after celebrating Mother's Day with her younger sister Ashlee, as well as her parents, Tina and Joe, back in LA. Jessica has talked a little bit about her upcoming wedding plans with Eric, and frequently gushes about her man, even sharing a picture of him lounging around shirtless in his Calvin Klein underwear in one of this week's fun and funny celebrity Twitter pictures. Jessica may be busy planning her nuptials, but she also took time out earlier this month to help some young ladies get ready for their own big event - the prom! Just a few weeks ago, Jessica appeared on Oprah to gift seven high-school girls who couldn't otherwise afford dresses to the dance with gowns from her very own Jessica Simpson Collection.
