We are thoroughly enjoying the interiors of the full-service, woman-owned, Manhattan-based architectural firm Studio ST. We’re mainly concerned with their interiors for the purposes of this post, and it’s because they take a simple, no-fuss approach to designing them that we think constitutes a quite modern style. It doesn’t hurt that these lovely designing ladies come across projects with pretty stellar architecture to begin with…but that’s very nearly the reason for of us choosing them: they know how to create interiors that enhance the beautiful architecture and views of these interior spaces, not detract from them. Color palettes are light, airy with hints of bright color. Furnishings are sparse, uncluttered and clean. Material choices are modern, fresh and also a little fun — these aren’t stuffy spaces, but spaces anyone could feel comfortable in. More here.
