NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Nike has re-signed National Football League quarterback Michael Vick to an endorsement deal.
The move, reported by CNBC, would mark the first time that Nike has brought back an athlete for endorsement after terminating a previous contract.
The formerly disgraced Vick lost his deal with Nike in August 2007 after he was accused of funding a dog-fighting ring. He eventually pleaded guilty to the charges and served more than 20 months in prison. He was released in 2009.
