Samsung launched their first monitor with a built-in HDTV receiver yesterday, the Syncmaster LT23A350. Although DTV is available in the country, it’s still not yet widely used so at the moment, this monitor will only be of great use to a select market.
The Syncmaster LT23A350 has an internal HDTV receiver which provides digital TV functions such as TV shows guide, auto-channel search and etc. It also features Picture-In-Picture which allows you to experience both computer screen and TV show at the same time because you want to stay productive during commercials.
As a plain LED monitor, it adopts Samsung full HD (1920 x 1080) monitor, providing 250cd/m2 brightness and Mega DCR technology. Hence, image quality is more distinctive and HD motion videos will not be blurred. It also features what Samsung called “Magic” functions which automatically adjusts color and brightness to suitable values depending on what you are doing (e.g. games, videos, browsing, etc.).
This 23″ multi-purpose LED monitor is now available for only Php14,990.00 and comes with a 3-year free standard warranty.
