A carefully curated book collection can also serve as the focal point of a room. For those more apt to splurge on hardcover books than fine art, there’s Novel Poster, a new Kickstarter-funded company out of San Francisco. The designers create heavy-weight black-and-white prints out of the full text of books like The Great Gatsby (pictured), Pride and Prejudice, 1984, and Alice in Wonderland. The (legible) writing spans the novel’s first sentence to its last, forming artful silhouettes in the negative space.
