Boy ain’t that the question of our generation. Also a good inquiry: what is modern design? They’re both subjects that we try to touch on subtly and obviously on this blog. It’s what drives us to do what we do. It’s what’s behind every one of our decisions when we consider new designers for 2Modern’s catalog of products and designs. These are questions that we think are pretty vital to the world as we know it; if we don’t try to pinpoint good design, how can we encourage it and prevent bad design to invest our lives like weeds? We certainly invite our loyal readers and new folks just dropping in to weigh in on this subject, but first check out an article we found on the Houston Chronicle, ”What is good design? Experts weigh in.” The writer poses the question to a number of local Texas design professionals and experts, and we loved reading their answers. It’s a good a day as any to post the question to you fine folks!
