Peter Gregorio’s paintings reflect his interest in the advent of the Singularity, the scientific concept that artificial intelligence will one day surpass human intelligence. He transforms conceptual ideas of information theory and theoretical cosmology into tangible works of art, presenting a vision of a flattened dystopia. By compressing the depths of our 3-dimensional world, Gregorio blurs the vantage point of interpretation and allows us to reflect on the forthcoming changes that rapid and continuous technological advancements will bring.
