Modern art is…blowing minds and perceptions and perspectives! Check out the work of the French art collective Paper Donut. They teamed up with a fashion store called Sqwear for an ad campaign to create a pretty trendy geometric image (as well as did one on their own). The catch? None of these photos are photoshopped. That’s paint. On a wall. Painted in such a way that it makes it look 3D and floating and like it was digitally put in there. But it’s just paint!

Modern art is…taking simple ideas and tweaking them so that they’re so unexpected that they shock and awe and excite, just like these installations. Reminiscent of those chalk drawings by an artist who plays with perspective to create 3D effects on sidewalks, you can see in a couple of these photos how as you move the effect changes (but still looks pretty cool). And check out that triangle one…that’s not just on one wall, that’s created on two separate walls. We can’t even fathom how one goes about figuring out how to draw that. But we’re glad someone did. And we can’t be the only ones feeling like this would be amazing in a modern home. As spotted on the website Illusion.

So how much are you loving this? A ton? 20 tons? A whole universe full plus infinity?
