GM's China Sales in September Rise 15.3%:

BEIJING (TheStreet) -- General Motors said it sold 15.3% more cars in China in September than it did the previous year.

GM and its joint venture partners sold 240,244 cars, marking the automaker's second-highest ever sales in China for a single month.

"GM has maintained our momentum in China, with all of our major brands setting new September sales marks," said GM China Group president Kevin Wale, in a statement Monday.
