The title of the post about this house on Freshome really sums it up: “Diverse Modern Home Integrated in a Scenic Landscape.” That’s basically all we’re really looking for these days. We suppose it could have something to do with our dichotomy of loving sleek, modern homes but also really revering nature and all its wonderful randomness. You wouldn’t think the two go well together, but the truth is they do. Not only is there a contrast between the sharp, straight lines of a modern exterior to a home, there’s of course some order in the natural world.
Somehow when these two worlds collide they bring out the best in one another, like how we think happens in the Wohnhaus Pircher, Planit C property. In fact, doesn’t the layout of the home itself kind of hint at some natural measurement, like some geographic stratum diagram? The lines of the home certainly interact dynamically with the curves of the mountains in the background. And the colors of the home itself is pretty interesting, too. More via Freshome.
