Leytonstone's finest will not be without options when his tour of the Galaxy comes to an end
1 Paris St-Germain
His LA Galaxy contract runs out in the next few weeks but the former England captain has plenty of suitors across Europe who would allow him to show he has the form to fulfil his goal of captaining Team GB at London 2012. PSG would be a good fit, allowing the cologne magnate to come up smelling of roses in the perfume capital.
2 Fashionista
Having modelled everything from underpants to sarongs and run the gamut on his head from mohawk to corn rows, it could be time to rival his wife in the fashion-design business. Christian Dior are yet to replace the disgraced John Galliano and a move to the Parc des Princes would make him the Rosbif on the spot.
3 Actor
He's featured in the title of a film, Bend It Like Beckham, in which he didn't appear, and in the Goal trilogy in which he may wish he hadn't appeared but his proximity to Hollywood has sparked rumours of a move into acting. He would be ideal as a silent screen romantic lead. If he had to talk he could always voice Scrappy-Doo.
4 Work of art
Sam Taylor-Wood has already used him as the subject of a video portrait in 2004 but since then the tattoos have proliferated to such an extent that there seems to be little space left for further additions. Perhaps it's time to declare his masterpiece finished and plonk himself on Trafalgar Square's fourth plinth.
