Bérénice Bejo wore a flapper-style Gucci dress that looked straight out of The Artist to the 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood on Saturday. She accessorized with a gold and black clutch and black strappy sandals.

Does all this shiny gold embellishment (and eyeshadow) look too costumey? Or is looking like you arrived via chariot a good thing?
