Five Things We Liked on Thursday (Last Day of Fashion Week Edition!):



  • 1. We very much liked thinking of Ralph Lauren as Lord Grantham. (Also: who knew the Downton Abbey theme song had lyrics?)



  • 2. The evening dresses at Calvin Klein — they had the most magical amount of shimmer.



  • 3. That L'Wren Scott seemed to be the only designer who made something for André Leon Talley this season. (Talley was, by the way, at the show wearing a similarly fantastic cape.)



  • 4. That Bill Blass was so heavy on navy and black — our favorite color combination.



  • 5. The bright cobalt blue and sporty details in this look from Brood.
