Floral Design ~ Simple Roses:

Have a meeting or lunch coming up with a very small budget for flowers? Not to worry, grab a couple dozen roses from the grocery store or flower stand, a bunch or two of Bear Grass, and several long or square vases from Target or Crate and Barrel. Cut the rose stems down to about 5 inches, or just long enough to make the bottom of the bud level with the top of the vase. Arrange about 5 strands of Bear Grass in the vase so it forms a bit of a lattice pattern (as shown), fill vase with about 3 inches of water. Arrange roses in simple geometric order, making them look as symmetrical as possible. Wella! Professional roses for less than $50.
