Stock Market Story: April 19:
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Wall Street was trading mixed after a smooth Spanish bond auction and solid round of earnings reports was followed by a series of mixed economic indicators.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 53.3 points, or 0.4%, at 12,980. The S&P 500 was falling 3.4 points, or 0.2%, at 1382. The Nasdaq was up 8.5 points, or 0.3%, at 3040 but wavering.
Wall Street lost ground Wednesday, weighed down by lackluster earnings from tech heavyweights Intel and IBM and nervousness about the market appetite for Spanish debt.
