MANILA, Philippines—Veteran actor Dolphy, who has been confined at the intensive care unit of the Makati Medical Center since the weekend, “is responding to treatment very well,” his son and private nurse said Friday.
“My dad was sent to the hospital last Saturday because of penumonia. This made him weak because of his COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease),” Eric Quizon said in a statement.
