Quezon City court orders Annabelle Rama’s arrest:
MANILA, Philippines – The Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 92 on Monday ordered the arrest of talent manager Annabelle Rama.
RTC Branch 92 Judge Eleuterio Bathan issued the arrest warrant after Rama failed to appear in her scheduled arraignment.
Rama is facing 13 counts of libel for allegedly maligning former actress Nadia Montenegro on her Twitter account.
The court set the arraignment after it denied Rama's motion to suspend her arraignment.
Rama sought the suspension of her arraignment, saying she has a pending motion for reconsideration with the city prosecutor questioning its April 12, 2012, partial indictment.
