Estrada rules out super coalition:
MANILA, Philippines --- Former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada ruled out Thursday the super coalition proposed between the Liberal Party (LP) and the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
Emerging from a meeting of top UNA leaders at the Coconut Palace, Estrada blasted what he called the “arrogance” of Malacanang in dismissing the proposed coalition.
In shelving the merger proposal, UNA leaders said they can now concentrate on their strategy for the 2013 elections and move to fill up the five remaining senatorial slots.
