Pagasa: No storm but rains continue:
MANILA, Philippines—So far, there is only a small chance the low pressure area spotted far east of northern Luzon would enter the Philippine area of responsibility, the weather bureau said Saturday.
At 8 a.m. Saturday, the low pressure area was located some 1,070 kilometers east of northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services said in a bulletin.
“It is still too far to affect any part of the country,” said Pagasa.
“There’s a low chance the LPA will enter the Philippine area of responsibility but we can’t discount the possibility,” said Pagasa forecaster Adzar Aurelio in a television interview....
