Robredo missing as plane crashes in Masbate:
MANILA, Philippines – A five-seater light plane purportedly carrying Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo crashed in Masbate Saturday and search and rescue efforts are ongoing, said radio and television reports.
Masbate Vice Governor Vince Revil was quoted on Twitter as saying that there was one survivor, an aide of Robredo. He has not been identified.
In a separate television interview, Revil said authorities were trying to find the exact location of the crash.
