Did Lady Gaga Wear Fresh Saint Laurent to Visit Julian Assange?: 
It's fitting that Lady Gaga, Hedi Slimane's partner-in-arms against Cathy Horyn this fashion month, would get the honor of being the first person to wear his spring 2013 Saint Laurent collection off the runway, complete with the wide-brimmed fedora. (The hat didn't quite fit over her wig, so she perched it neatly atop a small hillock of hair in the back of her head, resulting in a minor incident outside of her hotel — see photo, below.)
Even more intriguing: Gaga wore this outfit to visit Wikileaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, where he's been holed up since June to avoid extradition and rape charges in Sweden. What might these two have shared during their tête-à-tête, besides tea and cake from singer M.I.A.? They could surely write some terrific open letters, or at least a good dirty rhyme or two.
(Note: we're awaiting confirmation from YSL that this is indeed spring 2013 Saint Laurent.)
