Canon gives WiFi and touch to the PowerShot S110:
Canon Philippines recently launched the PowerShot S110, the latest successor to their PowerShot S90 that started a line of enthusiast-level point-and-shoot cameras that offers high-quality images in a compact body.

The Canon PowerShot S110 has the same body as the previous S100 but with smoother lines and hard corners giving it a more solid and industrial look. Very appealing in my opinion as it blends well with the ridges of the dials.

What’s new is that they gave it a touch-screen capability and WiFi support where you can do nifty things like use your smartphone to focus and take the shot from afar aside from uploading photos wirelessly.

For specs, you’ll get 12.1 megapixel on the same 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor as its predecessor. It also offers 5x zoom with its f/2.0-5.9, 24-120mm lens. ISO range goes from 80 – 12,800 plus you can shoot photos in RAW and do Full HD 24p video recording.

The touch-screen at the back is a 3-inch 460k-dot LCD affair. Although this allows you to drill down to your setting using touch, you can still use the dials and control rings if you feel like it. Actually, the touch-screen is most useful for logging into a network or your social media account, or using pinch-to-zoom when viewing images.
The Canon PowerShot S110 has a suggested retail pricing of Php25,998 and comes with a 4GB SD card, camera case and 3-year warranty.
