HTC launches the One X+ and Windows Phone 8X in the Philippines

HTC launches the One X+ and Windows Phone 8X in the Philippines:
Last week, HTC unveiled their One X+ Android phone and their Windows Phone 8X to members of the media and HTC dealers from all over the country. The big guys of HTC Philippines’ shared what can be expected from their next line of mobile handsets.
The HTC One X+is the result of taking the award-winning HTC One X a notch higher as it features a 1.7 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP37 processor (that’s 27% faster than its predecessor). Actually, it’s a jump for the maximum single-core CPU clock from 1.5GHz to 1.7GHz, and a jump in the GeForce ULP GPU clock from 416 MHz to 520 MHz.

Another highlight of the event was the unveiling of HTC Windows Phone 8X. The phone is unique for its iconic design, a pure uni-body based on the Windows Phone Live Tiles that comes in a variety of bold colors including California Blue and Graphite Black.

It also has a physical shutter button to allow you to capture spontaneous action, even when your phone is locked. It features a 4.3” HD-resolution super LCD 2 screen protected by Gorilla Glass 2.

One that is exclusively available on HTC smartphones, the Windows Phone 8X features Beats Audio to give a unique audio amplifier for a better sound experience.
The HTC One X+ and Windows Phones will be available in the Philippine market this month. The HTC One X+ is going to retail for Php32,800 while the Windows Phone 8X will be going for Php28,800.
After the short talk about the Windows Phone 8X, the rest of the night was an auction for the HTC dealers in the house. They auctioned really good items; I mean really good that I wished the media was also allowed to bid. Some of the big items included were Louis Vuitton bags, a Tag Heuer watch, Rimowa Luggage, Osim Massage Chair, Asus Laptops. The highest bid made was only P10,000 plus.
