Kate Hudson (and her long sleeves) Steal the Show in McQueen at Golden Globes:
I watched the red carpet last night like every other red blooded fashion-lover, paper and pen in hand – taking notes and twittering away. Perhaps it was the cold temps, but I couldn’t help but notice how long sleek gowns really stole the show last night at the Golden Globes. Kate Hudson in particular truly stunned in her McQueen gown with it’s trim silhouette and jeweled neckline.
While the January chill may have had a lot to do with the trend towards covering up, Kate has made a habit of donning sleek McQueen lately, as she did in this remarkable white gown back in September at the Toronto Int. Film Festival.
It’s a look that many of the celebs wore last night – and did so amazingly: Julianne Moore wore Tom Ford, Helen Mirren in Badgley Mischka; Naomi Watts in Zac Posen; all elegant, sophisticated and commanding.
