Salma Hayek and Valentina Land in LA to Start Award Season: 
Salma Hayek arrived in LA with her daughter, Valentina, yesterday. Salma let her naturally wavy hair down as she walked through the airport. Although Salma isn't up for any awards, she could be in town to start preparations for award season, which kicks off this week with the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 9. The actress is involved in one big event. Salma and Jeremy Renner were named honorary cochairs for the 2013 Spirit Awards, and the two actors will attend the Spirit Awards Nominee Brunch in LA on Saturday as well as the award show itself on Saturday, Feb. 23, the day before the Oscars. Regardless of what shows Salma attends, she is sure to wear a stunning designer gown, as her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, is the CEO of PPR, which owns red carpet favorites like Balenciaga, and Saint Laurent.
