Samsung unveils world’s first Curved OLED TV:
It seems that 3D is not the future of home TV-viewing anymore as Samsung unveiled the world’s first Curved OLED TV at CES 2013 to bring a new experience in home entertainment.
In mobile devices, OLED panels are known to be ideal for watching videos with their deep blacks and rich contrast. This TV’s OLED panel is curved, which provides depth to the content displayed for a more life-like viewing experience. Having a curved panel gives an immersive panorama effect not possible with your flat screens and this results to captivating nature and landscape scenes (for the Nat Geo lovers out there).
Samsung’s Curved OLED TV also gives viewers a comfortable experience, as the curved panel allows the distance between the user and TV screen to be the same from almost any angle.
