Smart bares LTE bucket pricing for postpaid users:
Smart just announced their LTE bucket plans for postpaid subscribers who want to try LTE but don’t want to commit to a full LTE plan.
These LTE promo is applicable only to Smart’s Postpaid Regular Plans, Consumable Plans, Unlimited Data Plans, and iPhone Plan. If you’re on an iPhone 5 plan, LTE access is already automatic, free and unlimited until April 30, 2013.
Access to Smart’s LTE under this package is unlimited until March 30, 2013. All you need is an LTE device and an LTE-provisioned SIM. If you’re a subscriber from 2010 or below, SIM replacement is free.
These packages can effectively replace your usual data subscriptions as the pricing is the same and if you’re in a place without LTE coverage, you’ll still get 3G access. For a list of LTE-covered areas, please click here.
More plans are coming soon which might even hit prepaid subscribers. It’s interesting to note that for Globe, they made their LTE network accessible to anyone as long as they have an LTE device, an LTE-provisioned Globe SIM, and subscribed to a data plan.
