Nokia Lumia 920 makes it way to stores for P26,990:
Nokia’s flagship Lumia phone has finally made its way to stores in the metro. The Nokia Lumia 920 is now being sold in select Nokia stores for Php26,990.
The Windows Phone 8-based Nokia Lumia 920 was announced in September of last year so excitement on this handset has dwindled down a bit. However, it still remains as one of the best phones Nokia has to produced since teaming up with Microsoft.
The Nokia Lumia 920 sports a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display which has a 1280 x 768 resolution and is 25% brighter than the best panels out in the market. The screen also features “Super Sensitive Touch” which lets you use it even with glove on.
Nokia puts the PureView name on the 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss optics of the Lumia 920 even though it’s not the same as the Nokia PureView 808. It promises good hardware image stabilization and impressive low-light performance though from what the company calls “floating lens”.
You’ll also get NFC support here, LTE connectivity, and Nokia’s largest battery ever (2000mAh) plus wireless charging via Qi technology. It’s one feature-packed phone that might attract people to try out Windows 8.
