Kate Hudson Talks Fashion in Her First Motivational Speech: 
Kate Hudson made a surprise visit to the second annual ANNpower Vital Voices Leadership Forum in Washington DC yesterday. ANNpower Vital Voices is a joint initiative between Ann Taylor and LOFT, aimed to empower the next generation of female leaders and affect positive social change. As Ann Taylor's brand ambassador, Kate spoke to 50 young women from across the country about her own professional path, the importance of following their dreams, and the art of fashion. "Everyone has the opportunity to say what they want with their own fashion statement," she said at the event. "You want people to be able to express themselves and afford it."
Kate's inspirational stop for Ann Taylor comes off the heels of a fashionable foray for her new home country. Kate is featured in the May issue of Elle UK, where she opened up about her life with fiancé Matthew Bellamy and her children, Bing and Ryder.
