Vedanta Won't Bid for Rio's Canadian Assets: U.K.-listed mining group Vedanta Resources has pulled out of the bidding for the Canadian iron-ore assets of global metals and mining firm Rio Tinto, a person familiar with Vedanta's thinking said.
